- There is a utility in aminet/disk/misc called ZipTool11 which allows you to
- lock/unlock zipdisks. However if it is asking you for a password I think you
- are in trouble! I had the same problem with my ZipTools disk, my first Zip had
- a damaged head and in trying to format the disk it set a read/write lock on
- the disk with password protection. The only thing I could do was LowLevel
- format from HDToolBox and then it worked fine.

- I would suggest copying the data from your Zipdisk and then doing a lowlevel
- format. Alternatively find a PC owner with a parallel Zip drive, the PC
- ziptools include a disk scan and diagnosis section which works quite well.
